Was not happy with his answer, could have been explained much easier, but the real reason or truth would have hurt

Arnie,
I absolutely disagree with your comment. Let me start by stating that I am not a member of this church, I am however a U.S. Army combat veteran who currently struggles with everything from P.T.S.D to substance abuse to ruined relationships because of the former. I can tell you that my greatest struggle in recovery has been in finding and wanting to accept religion into my life. I have so many questions from the mere existence of god and why he allows the pain, evil and suffering that I have witnessed on a horrific level. I thought a very appurtenant point in the sermon came when Justin stated that the existence of pain, suffering and evil in fact point to the existence of god, a reason if you will. So in closing, thank you Justin for the sermon and your mentorship as I try to lessen my imprint to more of a pebble as opposed to a stone.
